Mr. Abendschein has more than 24 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He began his career in 1984 with Anadarko and has held positions of increasing responsibility including Onshore Reservoir Engineering manager, Onshore Operations Manager, Vice President of Worldwide Deepwater Operations and Vice President, E&P Services. Mr. Abendschein currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Development and is responsible for overseeing the company's acquisitions and divestitures and U.S. business development. Mr. Abendschein holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a registered professional engineer in Texas. |
Larry J. Abston Vice President, Corporate Audit

Mr. Abston joined Anadarko in August 2008. He has more than 25 years of experience in providing business advisory, project management and auditing services to large multi-national energy companies. Mr. Abston began his career in 1983 with Price Waterhouse LLP, in Dallas. He later served two years as Manager of Accounting Policy and Research at Amoco Corporation in Chicago. In 1998, he rejoined the Houston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he served as Managing Director of Internal Audit Services prior to joining Anadarko as Vice President, Corporate Audit. Mr. Abston holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International and the Institute of Internal Auditors. D. Clay Bretches Vice President, E&P Services and Minerals

Mr. Bretches currently serves as Vice President, Exploration and Production (E&P) Business Services and Minerals and is responsible for overseeing the company's land, technology, supply chain management, and EHS functions. He also oversees the company's hard-mineral properties that include non-operated joint ventures and royalty arrangements in several coal, trona and industrial mineral mines located in the Rocky Mountains where Anadarko owns most of its fee mineral rights. Mr. Bretches joined Anadarko in 2000, holding positions of increasing responsibility within the marketing and minerals departments and leading the group from 2007-2010. Mr. Bretches has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He began his career in 1988 serving in drilling and operations engineering roles with ARCO Oil and Gas Company before moving to the marketing side of the business with Vastar Resources in 1995. Mr. Bretches holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Texas. He serves on the Boards of Directors for Member Source Credit Union, Center for Hearing and Speech, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He also chairs the Coordinating Subcommittee of the National Petroleum Council's Study on North American Resource Development. |
John A. Broman Vice President, International Operations

Mr. Broman joined Anadarko in 1984 and has since held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations and management, including General Manager of Algeria and General Manager of Coalbed Methane. Mr. Broman has worked in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and the United Kingdom, and served as Director of Corporate Planning before being promoted to his current position in July 2012. Mr. Broman holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. |
John M. Colglazier Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications

Mr. Colglazier has more than 25 years of experience in a various accounting, planning and investor relations positions within Anadarko. He began his career in 1982 with Union Pacific Resources as a corporate auditor and has held positions of increasing responsibility within UPR and Anadarko. Mr. Colglazier currently oversees Anadarko's Investor Relations' program and its external and internal communications' departments. Mario M. Coll, III Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Mr. Coll was named Vice President of Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer in May 2004. Mr. Coll possesses more than 24 years of E&P experience in domestic and international engineering and operations, strategic planning and information management. Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Information Management for Devon Energy from 2003 to 2004, and as Vice President, Operational Planning and Chief Information Officer for Ocean Energy from 1997 to 2003. Prior to that, he worked at Mobil Oil where he held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and operations. Mr. Coll began his professional career as a Senior Service Engineer for NL Industries, Inc. Mr. Coll holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Ms. Douglas currently serves as Chief Accounting Officer and is responsible for overseeing Anadarko's accounting functions. She has more than 31 years of experience in accounting policy, financial reporting, internal controls and risk accounting. She began her career in 1979 with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, and has held positions of increasing responsibility including Controller, Assistant Controller, Corporate Accounting Manager, and Financial Reporting. Douglas P. Hazlett Vice President, U.S. Onshore Exploration

Mr. Hazlett has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He joined Anadarko in 1984, and has held positions of increasing responsibility within International and domestic exploration including Chief Geoscientist and Manager, U.S. Onshore Exploration. Mr. Hazlett currently serves as Vice President, Exploration, U.S. Onshore and Alaska, and his responsibilities include exploration in multiple shale gas basins including the Marcellus and Eagleford plays. Mr. Hazlett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Science degree in geology from Colorado School of Mines. Darrell E. Hollek Vice President, Gulf of Mexico Operations and Global Deepwater Drilling

Mr. Hollek began his career in 1980 with Kerr-McGee Corporation as a field engineer in Morgan City, Louisiana, and has held positions of increasing responsibility including Director of Gulf of Mexico Production Operations, Vice President of Offshore Operations and Shelf Assets, Vice President of Gulf of Mexico and Worldwide Deepwater Operations, Vice President of U.S. Onshore Exploration, Production and Development, Vice President of Gulf of Mexico Exploration, Production and Development and Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety and Regulatory. Currently, Mr. Hollek is responsible for overseeing all of Anadarko's producing assets, operations and development activities in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the American Petroleum Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Brad Holly Vice President, Southern and Appalachia Operations

Mr. Holly was named Vice President of Southern and Appalachia Operations in July 2012. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of the Greater Natural Buttes and General Manager of Maverick Basin. Prior to that, Mr. Holly served as Reserves and Planning Manager for the Southern and Appalachia region, and was a reservoir engineer and development supervisor on Anadarko's Marco Polo and K2 developments in the deepwater GOM. Mr. Holly has more than 15 years of experience in oil and natural gas exploration and production, having begun his career with Amoco in 1994. He joined Anadarko in 1997 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in onshore and offshore engineering and management. Mr. Holly holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University. Currently, he serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Texas Tech Petroleum Engineering Department and also is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. |
James J. Kleckner Vice President, Rockies Operations

Mr. Kleckner is Vice President of the Rockies Region for Anadarko, overseeing the company's operations and development activities in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Mr. Kleckner has more than 25 years of global technical and leadership experience. He began his career in the oil and natural gas industry with Sun Oil Company and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout the world, including management roles in the North Sea, South America, China, U.S. onshore and Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Kleckner holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the American Petroleum Institute and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. Ernest A. Leyendecker Vice President, Gulf of Mexico Exploration

Mr. Leyendecker began his career in 1982 with Marathon Oil Company, serving in various domestic and international roles including drilling, completions and reservoir engineering before joining Enterprise Oil in a leadership position in their Gulf of Mexico operations. After the acquisition of Enterprise Oil by Royal Dutch Shell plc, Mr. Leyendecker joined Kerr-McGee Corporation in 2002 and served as Exploration Manager for the shelf and deepwater Gulf of Mexico until the acquisition of Kerr-McGee by Anadarko. Since 2006, Mr. Leyendecker has held positions of increasing responsibility at Anadarko including General Manager for Worldwide Exploration, Engineering, International Negotiations and Planning and Director of Corporate Planning. He currently serves as Vice President, Gulf of Mexico Exploration and is responsible for the company's exploration activities. Mr. Leyendecker holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Robert J. Lunn Vice President, International New Ventures

As Vice President of International New Ventures, Mr. Lunn leads Anadarko's international new ventures teams. During Mr. Lunn's 25 years with Anadarko, his career has been split between international and domestic offshore projects. Bob began his career with Gulf Oil Company and for five years focused on the Gulf of Mexico. He continued his work in the Gulf with Anadarko, including as the Exploration Manager from 1997 to 2004. Mr. Lunn's international experience spans five continents, including a focus on exploration projects in North Africa and South America, and new ventures. Mr. Lunn holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Texas at El Paso; he is a registered professional geophysicist in Texas. He is an active member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. |
Donald H. MacLiver Vice President, Mozambique Operations

Mr. MacLiver joined Anadarko in 1996 as Production Manager of Anadarko Algeria Company and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Algeria and internationally since that time. Amanda M. McMillian Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Ms. McMillian has served as Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Anadarko since July 2012. She also served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership, from January 2008 to August 2012. Ms. McMillian has served in positions of increasing responsibility since joining Anadarko in December 2004, including most recently as Lead Counsel. Prior to joining Anadarko, Ms. McMillian practiced corporate and securities law at the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Ms. McMillian has a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University and received both a Master of Arts and a Juris Doctor from Duke University. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and has been active in a number of organizations including the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, National Association of Corporate Directors and National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. Mr. Moore has more than 26 years of experience in marketing, trading, logistics, commodity derivatives, economics, risk management, commercial litigation, project finance and engineering in the oil and natural gas industry. Since 1991, Mr. Moore has held positions of increasing responsibility at Anadarko and predecessor companies including market analyst, manager of futures trading, director of portfolio management, and general manager of gas marketing. As Vice President, Marketing he is responsible for natural gas, NGL, and crude oil marketing and operations, market fundamentals and commodity price risk management. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with Honors from the University of Colorado and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. He is the Assistant Chair of the Coordinating Subcommittee for the National Petroleum Council study on the Prudent Development of North American Gas and Oil Resources and an active participant in the government affairs and technical committees of America's Natural Gas Alliance. Mr. Moore is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association. He is a member of the board of directors of the Western Energy Alliance and of the Natural Gas Supply Association. |
Frank J. Patterson Vice President, International Exploration

Mr. Patterson began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1982 as a development geologist with Sun Oil Company. During his career, he has been responsible for numerous deepwater Gulf of Mexico exploration programs, including Nansen, Boomvang, Gunnison, Redhawk, Constitution, Ticonderoga and Caesar discoveries and appraisals. Mr. Patterson currently oversees Anadarko's international exploration activities and has managed the Jubilee and Tweneboa discoveries in Ghana, as well as the Wahoo and Itaipu pre-salt discoveries in Brazil. Mr. Patterson holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Oklahoma. He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist and a member of the AAPG, the Houston Geological Society and SPE. He also participates in a number of exploration management groups in the Houston area. |
Gregory M. Pensabene Vice President, Government Relations

Mr. Pensabene oversees Anadarko's federal and state government relations programs. He joined Anadarko as Vice President, Government Relations in 1997. Based in Washington, D.C., Mr. Pensabene has extensive experience in law and public policy matters related to natural resources development. Immediately prior to joining Anadarko, he was a partner in a Washington, D.C. based law firm. Mr. Pensabene completed the Institute of Business Economics and Management at the University of Southern California School of Business and received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Mr. Pensabene also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association and has held positions of leadership in the Natural Resources Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Rea currently serves as Vice President, Midstream and is responsible for overseeing the company's midstream operations, which are primarily located onshore in the United States. Mr. Sinclair serves as Vice President and since October 2009, has also served as President and CEO of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko, which is the general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP, a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership. Prior to joining Anadarko, Mr. Sinclair was a founding partner and served as President of Ceritas Energy, LLC, a midstream energy company headquartered in Houston with operations in Texas, Wyoming and Utah. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sinclair was President of Duke Energy Trading and Marketing LLC, one of the nation's largest marketers of natural gas and wholesale electric power, and served as Chairman of the Energy Risk Committee for Duke Energy Corporation. Prior to joining Duke, Mr. Sinclair served as Senior Vice President of Tenneco Energy and as President of Tenneco Energy Resources. Previously, as one of the original principals and officers at Dynegy (formerly NGC Corporation), he served for eight years in various officer positions, including Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Robert Vardeman Vice President, Worldwide Project Management

Mr. Vardeman has more than 35 years of experience in oil and natural gas exploration and production, beginning his career with Amoco in 1975. He held positions of increasing responsibility in facilities engineering with Sun Exploration and Production Company, predecessor of Oryx Energy Company, where he was engineering manager for projects such as the Neptune spar. Following Oryx Energy Company's merger with Kerr-McGee Corporation, Mr. Vardeman was promoted to Vice President of Marine Facilities Engineering, where he led the execution of deepwater developments including the Nansen, Boomvang, Red Hawk, Gunnison and Constitution spars and Independence Hub production facility. These projects include three successive generations of spar technology for deepwater developments. Mr. Vardeman was named Anadarko's Vice President of Worldwide Project Management in [July 2012] to oversee execution of the company's major projects in Algeria, Mozambique, the Gulf of Mexico, and the onshore U.S. In November 2005, Mr. Vardeman was awarded the Citation of Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland by the President of Finland for meritorious service to the maritime industry of Finland, where most of the industry's spar projects have been built. In 2009, he received the Achievement Award from the Engineering and Construction Contracting Association. Mr. Vardeman holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Currently, he serves on the Engineering Advisory Council at Texas A&M University and has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Offshore Technology Conference. |
