Executive Bios 

Mr. Hackett was named Chief Executive Officer of the company in December 2003, and Chairman of the Board in January 2006. He also served as Anadarko President from December 2003 to February 2010.
Prior to joining Anadarko, Mr. Hackett was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Devon Energy Corporation from April 2003 until December 2003 following Devon's merger with Ocean Energy, Inc., where he was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer from March 1999 to April 2003 and was Ocean Energy's Chairman of the Board from January 2000 to April 2003. Prior to that Mr. Hackett served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Seagull Energy until it merged with Ocean Energy, Inc., in March 1999.
Mr. Hackett is former Chairman of America's Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) and former Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He is on the Board of the American Petroleum Institute and the National Petroleum Council and is a Director of Bunge, Ltd. and Fluor Corporation. He is also a former Chairman and now Board member of the Houston Grand Opera, the Welch Foundation for Chemistry, the Business Roundtable and the Trilateral Commission. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Baylor College of Medicine and is a Board member and adjunct professor at Rice University.

Mr. Daniels joined Anadarko in 1985 and assumed his current position in December 2006. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Exploration and Production beginning May 2004, and prior to that served as Vice President, Canada beginning July 2001. Mr. Daniels has also held key positions within Anadarko's exploration group, including Geologic Supervisor for Algeria, Manager of Geology for Algeria Exploration, Project Manager of the Ourhoud Development Project in Algeria, and Manager of U.S. Onshore Exploration.
Mr. Daniels holds a Master of Science degree in petroleum geology from the Colorado School of Mines and a bachelor's degree in economics from The Colorado College. He also is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
Mr. Daniels serves on the Board of Directors of the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation and Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. He is a Trustee of the American Geological Institute Foundation.

Mr. Gwin was named Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer in March 2008. He is responsible for the areas of accounting, financial reporting and tax; treasury, corporate finance and risk management; investor relations and communications; corporate development; corporate planning; and corporate audit. Mr. Gwin also is Chairman of the Board of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership. He previously served as President and CEO of that company until 2010. Mr. Gwin joined Anadarko in January 2006 as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer.
Mr. Gwin is a Director of LyondellBassell Industries N.V. and serves on the Board of Theatre Under the Stars. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.

Mr. Chuck Meloy was named Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations in December 2006. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Deepwater and International Operations.
Mr. Meloy also is a Director of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership.
Prior to the acquisition by Anadarko in 2006, Mr. Meloy served as Vice President of Exploration and Production at Kerr-McGee Corporation. He also served as Vice President of Gulf of Mexico Exploration, Production and Development from 2004 to 2005, Vice President and Managing Director of North Sea Operations from 2002 to 2004, and held several other deepwater Gulf of Mexico management positions beginning in 1999. Mr. Meloy's experience also includes positions in planning, operations, deepwater, and reservoir engineering positions with Oryx Energy Company and its predecessor, Sun Oil Company.
Mr. Meloy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Texas Professional Engineers.

Mr. Reeves was named Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer in January 2007. He joined Anadarko in March 2004 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Law, and added the role of Chief Governance Officer in September 2004. Mr. Reeves has more than 25 years of legal and management experience and is responsible for Anadarko's legal, government relations, information technology and administration functions. As Chief Governance Officer, he also is responsible for the company's compliance with the corporate governance rules and regulations of the New York Stock Exchange, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Mr. Reeves also is a Director of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership.
Prior to joining Anadarko, Mr. Reeves served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Ocean Energy, Inc., until 2003. He served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Flores & Rucks, Inc., a predecessor to Ocean Energy, until 1997. Prior to that, he was a Partner in the Energy Section of Onebane Law Firm of Lafayette until 1993.
Mr. Reeves holds a Juris Doctorate and bachelor's degree in business administration from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the Texas and Louisiana State Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and the American Corporate Counsel Association. Mr. Reeves serves on the Board of Directors of Key Energy Services, Inc., St. Luke's Episcopal Health System and United Way of Greater Houston.

Mr. Al Walker is President and Chief Operating Officer having joined Anadarko in 2005 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was a Managing Director for the Global Energy Group of UBS Investment Bank from 2003 to 2005. He is a Director of Centerpoint Energy, Inc. and Temple-Inland Inc. He also is a Director of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership, having previously served as the Chairman of the Board of this company until 2009. Mr. Walker serves on the Board of Trustees for the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
