 Accounting 

As an intern, you will work in Anadarko’s Houston or Denver office where you will be assigned to one of the accounting departments. Your internship will expose you to multiple facets of the oil and gas business and the way Anadarko conducts its business.

As a new accountant, you will begin your career in Houston or Denver, where you will immediately begin working in one of the accounting departments. You will rotate through various groups such as operational accounting, financial accounting, corporate tax, enterprise system management, internal audit and financial planning for approximately two years to expose you to multiple facets of the oil and gas business and the way Anadarko conducts its business.

Accounting Opportunities

Summer Intern 

  • Candidates must have completed their sophomore or junior year of an Accounting degree program prior to the start of their employment. The ideal candidate will have completed Intermediate Accounting I and II.  A 3.0 GPA or higher and authorization to work in the United States are required.
  • All openings for 2008 have been filled, and recruiting for 2009 will begin in September.  Please check back.

 Rotational Accountant Program

  • Candidates must complete a BBA or MPA Accounting prior to the start of employment. A 3.0 GPA or higher and authorization to work in the United States are required.
