Our new geologists and geophysicists take part in Anadarko’s three-phase work program. We understand the best ways to gain experience and knowledge are drilling wells and learning the basics of the industry.
We’ll match you with mentors that will teach, inspire and enhance your career development. The second phase includes working on a team of experts in Anadarko’s exploration group, where you’ll gain prospecting skills and use the tools and concepts you’ve learned on new projects.
Finally, most spend time in a technology or a basin study group, working as a specialist or doing broad regional exploration in a U.S. or international basin. You’ll experience a culture that values and rewards
technical creativity, innovation, continuing education and professional excellence.

Summer Intern
- Candidates must be Graduate students in the Geosciences with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
College Hire
- Candidates must have a Masters or PhD in the Geosciences prior to the start of employment. A 3.0 GPA or higher is required.
