Anadarko conducts a summer internship program that opens opportunities for students to become a valued part of our team in The Woodlands, Texas, in Denver, Colorado and in our field offices. As an Anadarko land intern, you’ll gain real-world experience that will help you grow into a confident professional. You’ll work on projects that have a meaningful impact on the success of our company, and you’ll learn and grow in the process.

As a new Landman, you will have responsibilities as an integral part of a geographic and cross-discipline team including negotiations for and acquisitions of oil and gas leases and various industry-related agreements that keep our drilling programs moving ahead.

Land Opportunities


Summer Intern

  • Candidates must be working on a degree in Energy Management, Petroleum Land Management or Law. A 3.0 GPA or higher and authorization to work in the United States are required.
  • Due to a limited number of openings, we will only be accepting applicants at the listed campuses.

College Hire

  • Candidates must have completed a bachelors degree specializing in Energy Management or Land Management or a J.D. prior to employment. A Bachelors of Business Administration is also accepted from a university that does not provide a degree in Land Management or from a law school. A 3.0 GPA or higher and authorization to work in the United States are required.
