Anadarko Midstream to Treat SandRidge Gas at Mitchell Puckett
HOUSTON, August 2007 – SandRidge Energy, Inc., formerly known as Riata Energy, Inc., has recently acquired NEG Oil & Gas LLC. SandRidge acquired West Texas production and acreage from NEG, which has spurred new permit and drilling activity in Pecos County, Texas. SandRidge has filed 16 new permits since the beginning of November 2006, ranging in depth from 7,000 feet to 12,000 feet. The permitted wells are looking to hit The Pinon, Rio Caballos, Algerita and Bitterweed fields.
