Infrastructure Investment
Since beginning activity in 2006, Anadarko has taken extensive steps to minimize the effects of energy development by investing in infrastructure upgrades to enhance safety for all drivers in the areas where we operate. Anadarko and its partners have invested more than $80 million to improve more than 220 miles of private, state-route, state-forest and township roadways across four counties. Anadarko is committed to protecting public health, safety and the environment, and investing in area roadways is just one way the company is fulfilling that commitment.

The Marcellus Shale is providing new opportunities for North-central Pennsylvania, which has ranked among the nation's leading regions for job creation during the past few years. These activities also contribute to local towns through induced employment and economic activity.
