Developing New Assets

Applying industry-leading technology and expertise, Anadarko’s deepwater development teams are committed to safely and responsibly maximizing the value of our projects throughout the Gulf of Mexico.

Having pioneered three generations of “world’s first” spar technologies in the Gulf, Anadarko is implementing an innovative “design one, build two” approach to its latest development in the Green Canyon area: Heidelberg. By constructing a replica of the Lucius spar, Anadarko has been able to accelerate the anticipated date of first oil by approximately 18 months. Heidelberg is expected to achieve first oil in 2016.

Live Safe LogoAt work or away from the job site, Anadarko's Gulf of Mexico operations team views safety as a top priority. Anadarko employees and contractors promote a culture of safety by following the LiveSAFE program.
