2008 Earth Day Award
Anadarko earns the 2008 Earth Day Award from the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining for a unique drilling operation in Utah, where the company drilled 16 directional wells from a two-tier pad.

EPA Star Award 2006, 2005, 2004 & 2003
Anadarko earns the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Star Continuing Excellence Award for implementing and promoting voluntary, cost-effective measures to reduce emissions of methane.

Continental Divide Trail
Anadarko donates to the Bureau of Land Management in Carbon County, Wyoming, a 19-mile easement to close the largest gap in the congressionally designated Continental Divide National Scenic Trail.

WGFD Award
Anadarko receives the 2006 Wyoming Game and Fish Department Wildlife Stewardship Award for its Powder River water pipeline project.

Nature Conservancy Award
Anadarko receives the 2006 Nature Conservancy Houston Conservation Leadership Award.

China Libraries
Anadarko donates funds to construct six libraries at elementary schools in Hebei Province, China.

Algeria Social Programs
Anadarko provides training in local handicrafts to women in the Southern Sahara.

Habitat for Humanity
